The apple galette





Apples are a fruit of love. They also carry energy for beauty, fertility, garden magick, healing, and youth.

This recipe bakes up into a delicious pie/crumble that melts in your mouth.





Apple Galette

You will need:

dough for 1 unbaked pie crust

1 cup apricot preserves

2 apples, cored and cut into thin slices

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 Tablespoons flour

2-3 tablespoons butter, to dot the top

Heat oven to 375.

Roll out pie crust dough. Spread preserves over the dough and arrange apple slices in a spiral over the jam. Sprinkle with both sugars, cinnamon and flour. Dot the top with butter and gather up the edges. Bake 40-50 minutes or until pie is sizzling, crust is golden, and fruit is soft. Serve cooled.
